It’s a beautiful piece, the way you described the falling altogether as your legs give up was fantastic. It was as if the ground shifts from beneath as your legs fail and then you spiral crack, I loved the domino effect on that one.
‘My legs can’t hold me, my strength is gone,
I’m falling, and I don’t know where I belong.
The person I was feels so far away,
I’m fading with each passing day.’ These lines were the honestly wow.
I also loved how you shifted the flow and the momentum in the last stanza, where you talked about having peace, showing that whatever happens don’t loose hope.
thank you!!!! means a lot <33 that you connected with my words. also keep writing..you write beautiful poems too. i loved Cursed / just a few lines say so muchhh
This is such a profound thought! It’s true that we’re always in motion; chasing growth, new experiences, and different tastes of life, believing that peace lies somewhere ahead. But maybe peace isn’t about reaching a still point; maybe it’s about embracing the shifts without letting them shake our inner world.
Your reflection made me pause and ask myself the same—am I truly at peace, or am I just running toward the idea of it?
I always love hearing your beautiful thoughts! thanks for taking the time to read and share, means a lot 🫶🏼✨
